Maoists on Tuesday demanded that the Centre wind up Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) and other anti-naxal security forces.

"Stop raising CoBRA and other forces," read a poster, written in red and left at the site of a passenger shelter on Khunti-Tamar road which the Maoists razed to the ground, deputy superintdent of police AK Rai told newsmen in Khunti.

A group of Maoists armed with hammers and rods razed to the ground the passenger shelter, about 60 kms from Ranchi and littered the debris on the road to block vehicular traffic, he said.
