Madonna is reportedly rubbing her hands in glee over Mariah Carey's tour dates cancellations.
Sources reveal, that the 47 year old queen of pop, whose "Confessions" tour is expected to be a record-breaking success, was getting ready to go onstage in Chicago when someone told her Carey had been forced to cancel three tour dates.
"Madonna laughed hysterically," the New York Daily News quoted an insider, as saying.
"She has been asking her tour promoters to E-mail her Mariah's numbers!" the insider added.
But Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg denies such claims and insists that "she( the singer) has no negative feelings toward Mariah."
A Carey representative also argues that the R&B songstress considers the Material Girl star as a possible threat.
"Her tour is selling really well. She's canceled a few cities so she can add shows in larger cities. Toronto and Vancouver are sold out. So is her Madison Square Garden show. She's adding a Jones Beach show September 3," said the publicist.
