The members of the bhai-chara banao committee were directed to contribute minimum Rs 25,000 in the party fund.

She explained why she was stressing on cash, "Crores of rupees are spent on the organisation each year. I am not collecting fund from the business houses but dependent on the leaders and workers. The contribution would help me to meet the yearly expenditure on the organisation", she said.

"I am also collecting fund from the ticket seekers. This is also going into the party coffer. Large fund would be required for the election campaign in three states including UP, Uttaranchal and Punjab", she said.
