MBA student's car snatched

Four men robbed a student and snatched the car he was driving at gunpoint on Tuesday on a busy road in DLF City, reports HT Correspondent.

Four men robbed a student and snatched the car he was driving at gunpoint on Tuesday on a busy road in DLF City.

Umang Chawla was not harmed but the men threatened to kill him if he called the police as they escaped in his Toyota Corolla. Chawla is an MBA student.
No arrests have been made.

The incident took place at 9.30 pm as Chawla was returning home after dropping one of his friends at Sushant Lok.

A Maruti car stopped in front of Chawla's car at a spot near the Galleria Market, according to the police. As Chawla hit the brakes, two men came out of the Maruti car, got into the Toyota Corolla, shoved Chawla and took control of the car.

After driving for some 50 m, they snatched Chawla's mobile phone, Rs 11,000 cash, his golden ring and a chain before pushing him out, the police said.

Chawla was so terrified, he could not recall the registration number of his car before the police immediately after the incident.
