City police on Saturday said that Friday's blast at the Mecca masjid in Hyderabad was a planned terrorist attack and they have found some clues into the strike.
"It is a planned terrorist act, as you can see from the type of device (used to trigger the blast) used. It is a sophisticated device. We are looking into all possibilities," Police Commissioner Balwider Singh said.
"There are some clues and we are working on them," he told CNN IBN.
The situation in the city was very much under control and since Friday night there have been no incidents. There were enough forces to maintain law and order, he added.
