Mehbooba to visit Jammu for party meet

People's Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti's arrival in winter capital in Jammu on Friday is looked timely and refreshing to the party as workers meet is scheduled to be in the coming month. Firstly the budget session is at hand but the visit is eyed more critical when all parties have blinded with Azad's Roshni Act including PDP.
But what party leadership would not step out, is its traditional stand on the Self Rule to gain ground when Congress has come up with Roshni Act, the Mehbooba Mufti unlike past may stress for the new beginning under Self Rule to explore a workable and sustainable mechanism for the resolution of the Kashmir problems impeding the economic prosperity of the sub continent for the past six decades.
And this visit will be more focussed on Self Rule propagation; instead of other party issues, some political circle observed.
Mehbooba's visit to the Jammu at this time is considered as vital and significant when the party is accelerating its political activities in the city and have started propagating party's much cherished slogan the 'Self Rule' across the Pir Panjal, the divider between the Kashmir originating place of the party.
Well placed sources in party disclosed that Mufti duo would be contemplating upon making party's recognition in Jammu have chalked out a well focused plans to go on masses to drive the party roots and plugging the party ideology and the Self Rule in particular.
The recent visit of party president PDP is also taken as a tutoring to the party legislators prior to the coming assembly session in January.
It is to mention that Mufti's are going to hold a series of meetings with party legislators, ministers and other functionaries. They will discuss the strategies to accelerate the mass movement in support of the Self Rule and other issues advocated by the party time to time especially in wake of the Azad's Roshni Act. Sources said that party patron and party president will let loose many surprise moves of the party during these meets scheduled on January 4 and 7.
The party president is believed to take session with the party leaders and ask for their valuable suggestion to revitalise the party in Jammu region and also make her chess board ready for making her party cadre to have good motivational power. These party meetings are of vital significance especially, when the state is passing through the 'wordy bouts' between the coalition partners whether between the Congress and PDP or the PDP and JKNPP, some observed.
All eyes are now on the proposed itinerary of Mufti's with the party ranks busy in apprising Beig with their issues and seeking his apt suggestions much prior to proposed meetings. It would not surprise if Mehbooba Mufti or former chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed abruptly announce their tour to the Rajouri and Poonch as they have make their best effort to rope in the masses for the party in these national Conference Basiton right from the day first when party jumped into the Polls 2002.
