Met dept predicts cloudy conditions in most parts of Madhya Pradesh

Shahdol division that experienced chilly conditions with temperature dropping to 1 degrees Celsius may get relief in the coming days, the Meteorological department has predicted.

Also, cloudy conditions will prevail in some parts of the state, including Shahdol division, in the next two days. Umaria district recorded 1.2 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature of the state on Monday.

The regional Meteorological department (MeT) officials have warned of dense fog conditions in northern and north eastern parts of the state. The districts where dense fog has been predicted are Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Tikamgarh and Khajuraho.

Cold winds were blowing entire day in Bhopal. However, the minimum temperature of Bhopal witnessed a nominal change - up to 6.6 degrees Celsius from 6 degrees Celsius.

The weathermen have also predicted that ground frost conditions can prevail in Rewa, Satna, Umaria, Malanjkhand, Damoh, Betul, Raisen and Datia districts of the state in next 24 hours.
