The security forces on Sunday busted a militant hideout in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of ammunition and explosives.

Acting on a tip off, police assisted by BSF troops carried out a search operation at Takyabal forest and recovered three under barrel grenade launchers (UBGLs), three anti-personal improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a bomb and three rocket boosters among others, a police spokesman said.

However, no one was arrested during the operation.
