Militant sympathiser arrested for providing sim cards

A militant sympathiser was arrested for allegedly providing sim cards to terrorists in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir

A militant sympathiser was arrested for allegedly providing sim cards to terrorists in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Irshad Ahmed, resident of Patnazi area of Kishtwar district, was providing the sim cards to militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit. He was arrested last night from his house, the police said.

Irshad during investigation revealed that he had given the sim card to LeT militant Nazir Ahmed alias Gorsi alias Saqib, who was arrested by the police earlier. This is the third arrest by the police in this regard.

Two militant sympathisers -Mohmmad Shafi and Mohmmad Abass were arrested by the police earlier this month. The duo had also provided sim cards to militants in the district
