A minor fire broke out on Wednesday at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
A fire official said no one was injured in the fire that started in the generator room of the Rajendra Prasad eye centre.
The fire station had received a call at 1.50 pm and immediately three fire fighting vehicles dashed off to extinguish the fire.
The fire was controlled soon, the official added.
The medical institute has been in the limelight after dengue cases were reported in the capital.
