Minors kill colleague for not fetching liquor

Police on Saturday arrested two Class 12 students for murdering their colleague for not fetching more liquor for them. The victim is identified as Parveen Kumar, 18, a resident of Kamla Nagar here.

As per details, Kumar, a student of a local school here was to appear in Haryana Board exam scheduled to start from 12th March.

To beat the exam stress, he along with his two other classmates planned to booze at a location on the outskirts of the city.

Meanwhile, two others who are students of Class 10 and Class 11 also joined them. Police said that all five students consumed alcohol sitting near the drain till midnight.

Later, the four students asked Kumar to fetch more liquor bottles for them and he refused to the fight escalated to physical assault.

One of the suspect who was carrying knife pounced at him and injured him, while others attacked him with sticks, which led to the death of the victim.

Fearing police action, they(accused) planned to dispose the dead body and bundled it in sack and threw it in drain flowing near Sugar mill colony.

The matter came to fore, when police held one of the suspect drinking at a public place under Shivaji Nagar police station.

Upon questioning, incidentally, he came out with the story of his colleague. He revealed the details of crime along with names of other co-accused.

Victim's parents told police that he had left home on March 9 on the pretext of purchasing medicine for domestic dog and din't return later.

Police had recovered the decomposed body of the victim from the spot told by minor accused. Police said that a case of murder has been registered against the four accused, while two were arrested and efforts are being made to nab remaining two.
