Miracle cure for your grey hair!
Fed up of dying your hair? Experts at L'Oreal are working on a secret formula that can turn grey hair strands back to their former colour.india Updated: Oct 27, 2009 21:47 IST
The new research and development is strictly under wraps right now, but the company is confident that it will succeed in making this innovation, although it may be several years off.
In the meantime, L'Oreal has just unveiled another revolutionary hair dye, one that doesn't contain ammonia - so no stink and no itch or irritation!
Women have traditionally relied on hair dyes that contain ammonia to remove colour from hair, before the dye pigments get to work. L'Oreal has just invented a new hair colourant called INOA [Innovation No Ammonia] that doesn't contain any ammonia. It is far gentler on the hair, to the extent that it improves its condition with every use and can - almost - return hair to its pre-dyed condition.
There's clearly a huge demand for ammonia-free hair dye as the first batch of INOA recently became available to salons and sold out in a flash.
'This is exciting because it's revolutionary,' celebrity hair colourist Jo Hansford told the Mail. 'It is much less aggressive and there is far less fade, which is a huge bonus for the customer, especially for women with fine hair.'
