Missing minors from Sikkim rescued in city

The Delhi Police rescued four minor girls from two different placement agency owners who have been arrested. All the girls were kidnapped from Sikkim.

“We had received information that three minor girls, about 12 years old, were kept in Garhi area in East of Kailash,” said V.A. Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Southeast Delhi.

The girls were recovered from a house in Parkash Mohalla Garhi, East of Kailash. Police said the girls were found confined in the house. Srijana Subba Rai, who allegedly kept the girls, was arrested. The police also found out that in Sikkim a case of kidnapping had been registered.

The police also rescued another girl from the same area from another placement agent. She had also been kidnapped from Sikkim. The minor was found confined in a house in Amrit Puri Garhi 'B' area in East of Kailash. The accused Prahlad Singh, owner of Placement agency, Sky Group of Companies has been arrested.
