Modi to address 'Lalkar rally' in Jammu today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address 'Lalkar rally' in Jammu today.

According to reports, the Gujarat chief minister will arrive in Jammu around 11 a.m. along with senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley.

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up across the state and especially along all routes leading to the venue of the rally, the Maulana Azad Maidan Jammu.

Jammu and Kashmir police and Central Reserve Paramilitary Forces have set up barricades on all roads leading to the venue.

The movement of people is closely monitored and any person found suspicious is being stopped.

The Jammu and Kashmir police have deployed more than 4,000 police and paramilitary force personnel in the town to thwart any possible threat to the rally.
