The Narendra Modi government will complete 100 days in office in the first week of September.

Modi came to power promising that his government will take steps to check price rise and corruption and put the country's economy back on track.

After becoming prime minister, Modi has already initiated some measures to boost infrastructure, quicken decision-making and to reach out to India's neighbours. More announcements are expected over the next few days.
