The Class X student's mother has claimed her daughter was raped last year too by one of the five accused but fear of social stigma prevented them going to the police.

"One of the five accused had raped her last year, but we did not inform anyone. She was shattered. Somehow, I calmed her and slowly she was trying to lead a normal life but now she has lost her confidence," her mother told Hindustan Times.

"I did not inform even her father. I was in Bangalore when the first rape happened. I should have gone to the police. Maybe a recurrence could have been avoided," she said, with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Her father, who runs a shop in sector 12, said he would stand by his daughter till the end of his life.http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/HTEditImages/Images/27feb_pg-02a.jpg

Showing her scars to the HT reporters, the girl said, "People always blame a girl in such incidents. Why would I invite five drunk men to stroll with me? All of them should be punished; I don't want this to happen to any other girl."

She said she knew Himanshu and Rahul, two of the accused, through a common friend in tuition classes. She claimed Himanshu blackmailed her with a video he had made last time around and threatened to make it public.

Talking about the clip, her father said, "The police have still not got the MMS clip. We are continuously insisting the police to find that clip."

The girl said the five accused raped her by turns, thrashed her and threw her out of the car on Friday evening. "After committing the crime, they dumped me near a park. I reached home and my parents were shocked to see my condition. I narrated the incident to them and an FIR was lodged," she said.

Police claim that the girl is 17 years old while her father said her age is 15 and showed school documents.
