MP chief minister begins campaign for urban body polls from Datia
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan commenced the campaign for the upcoming urban bodies elections from Datia on Sunday. The CM went to Pitambara Peeth temple and participated in a cleaning programme.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan commenced the campaign for the upcoming urban bodies elections from Datia on Sunday.
The CM went to Pitambara Peeth temple and participated in a cleaning programme at a ground opposite the temple. Speaking at a public function, the CM said that the state has witnessed development in the last 10 years and would continue to move ahead in the future. Datia would have a special place in the development of the state. He said the sound fiscal policies adopted by the Union government will ensure that inflation will be under check.
Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar who was also present on the occasion said the policies of the Union government have forced the world to acknowledge India as a superpower. Former Datia district Congress president Jagdish Singh joined the BJP in the presence of the CM and Union minister.
