BJP workers and activists of their frontal organisations allegedly threw stones at the vehicles carrying AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh and leader of the opposition Ajay Singh at the Kukshi bus stand on Fridy evening.

No one was injured, but the windshield of Digvijaya Singh's car was damaged. Several vehicles that were part of the cavalcade were also damaged.

The two leaders were travelling from Alirajpur to Indore. When they reached Vijay Stambh in Kukshi, they were shown black flags by the BJP workers and when the vehicles reached the bus stand, some people threw stones at the passing vehicles. The two leaders did not stop there but went on to Manawar and from there to Indore.

Dhar SP BS Chouhan said that the culprits who threw stones are being identified and action would be taken against them. Meanwhile, Digvijaya Singh said the attack was the handiwork of BJP workers.
