WITH A view to redressing grievances of low-tension power consumers, the Madhya Pradesh Central Region Power Distribution Company (MPCRPDC), Bhopal would organise seven camps under the Obaidullahganj division.
The camps, to be held under the Special Facility Scheme, would benefit such domestic and commercial consumers whose connections have been disconnected temporarily or permanently. In this respect, grievances of consumers of Raisen and Sehore districts would be redressed.
As per the schedule, camps will be organised at village Ladkuyee on September 17 followed followed by a camp at Shahganj on September 18, Budhni on September 19, Gourharganj and Rehati on September 20 and Nasrullaganj and Obaidullaganj on September 21. Camps will be held at offices of the power distribution centres of respective areas.
This scheme has been launched to facilitate resuming of temporarily or permanently disconnected connections as per the conveniences of consumers. Under this, full surcharge would be waived off on the payment of total dues through a one-time settlement.
Besides, 75 per cent of surcharge would be waived off after consumers make full payment of dues in regular installments if they intend to make monthly payments.
