The Haryana government has nominated five MPs and 22 MLAs as members of seven municipal corporations (MC) of the state.
While stating this here today, An official spokesman, in a release, said on Thursday that nominated members of Yamunanagar-Jagadhri MC included Ambala MP Kumari Selja, Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal, Jagadhri MLA Akram Khan, Radaur MLA Bishan Lal Saini, Yamunanagar MLA Dilbag Singh, and Sadhaura MLA Rajpal Bhukhri.
The nominated members of the Ambala MC are Selja, Ambala city MLA Venod Sharma, Ambala Cantt MLA Anil Vij, and Ram Naraingarh MLA Kishan Gujjar.
The nominated members of the Rohtak MC are Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda, Rajya Sabha member Shadi Lal Batra, chief minister and Garhi Sampla-Kiloi MLA Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Rohtak MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra, and Kalanaur MLA Shakuntla.
For the Panipat MC, the nominated members are Karnal MP Arvind Sharma, Panipat urban MLA Balbir Pal Shah, and Panipat rural MLA Om Parkash Jain.
The nominated members of the Karnal MC are Karnal MP Sharma, Karnal MLA Sumita Singh, Gharaunda MLA Narender Sangwan, Indri MLA Ashok Kashyap, and Nilokheri MLA Mamu Ram.
The nominated members of the Hisar MC are Hisar MP Kuldeep Bishnoi, Hisar MLA Savitri Jindal, Nalwa MLA Sampat Singh, and Barwala MLA Ram Niwas Ghorela.
The nominated members of the Panchkula MC are Selja, Panchkula MLA Devender Kumar Bansal, and Kalka MLA Pardeep Chaudhary

Una: Reacting to the outburst of BJP MP from Amritsar Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Thursday said it was an internal matter of the BJP.
Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a religious congregation organised at the Radha Krishna temple in Kotla Kalan village, 2 km from Una city, the chief minister said, "He didn't have any personal problem with Sidhu and if at all the MP has any grouse then the state BJP leadership should take care of that."
To another query with regard to scrapping of agreement for the construction of Anandpur Sahib-Naina Devi ropeway by the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, the chief minister appealed to his Himachal Pradesh counterpart Virbhadra Singh to immediately resume the project, keeping in view its paramount socio-religious importance for both the states. He even offered to bear the entire expenditure of the project, besides conceding to initiate this prestigious project from Himachal territory.
Replying to another question regarding the commencement of express train from Nangal to Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded, the chief minister said he would certainly take up this issue with the union railways minister to expedite the schedule of chugging of this train between two important destinations as it would connect Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib and Takht Sri Hazur Sahib.
On accepting Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as Prime Ministerial candidate during the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, the chief minister said the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) being a key ally of BJP would support any candidate for this coveted post.
He expressed confidence that the BJP-led NDA would certainly form the next government at the Centre showing the door to the Congress-led UPA government.
Badal pointed out that people were fed up with rampant corruption, unemployment, poverty, inflation and starvation during the Congress regime. He said the UPA government had miserably failed to arrest the declining trend in the devaluation of Rupee, which has touched the lowest ebb several times recently.
Referring to the enactment of the Food Security Act by the Centre, the chief minister said there was nothing new in it. Rather, the Act was a 'xerox copy' of Atta-Dal scheme of the state government.
Earlier, addressing the religious congregation, the chief minister said saints and religious leaders should come forward to spread social harmony and brotherhood in society besides propagating messages against social evils.
Badal was given a warm welcome at the helipad in Indira stadium by local BJP leaders, where he landed in the afternoon along with Punjab health minister Madan Mohan Mittal.
Badal urged Baba Bal to organise such religious programmes in Punjab also to provide solace to people. He lauded the people of region for upholding the ethos of communal harmony, peace, amity and brotherhood, which was important for ensuring the overall development and prosperity in any state, country or nation.
