Four more suspects, including a doctor, with alleged Lashker-e-Taiba links, have been detained in connection with the July 11 serial blasts, Mumbai Police said on Saturday.
"Four suspects, including a doctor, who we believe have received training in Pakistan, have been detained.
"They are being questioned, but we cannot divulge any details at the moment for the sake of investigations," said a senior Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) official.
"They have, however, not been formally arrested. We are probing their alleged links with the Lashker-e-Taiba group. But it is too early to say anything concrete," the official said.
The four were arrested from Maharashtra, but the official refused to give details of where and when they were detained.
On Friday, a joint team of the ATS and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) had taken three suspects into custody.
The interrogation of the arrested trio had revealed several vital leads, ATS sources said.
"Interrogation of the three arrested suspects have revealed several vital leads, which we are following," he said.
The officer was, however, tight-lipped on whether the information had led to the detention of the four new suspects.
