Condemning the Mumbai serial blasts, Opposition People's Democratic Party in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday said that motive of such barbaric acts was to stall the process of reconciliation and peace.
"Such inhuman acts were orchestrated by those forces who were opposed to the process of restoring peace and tranquillity in this region," PDP patron and former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said while addressing party workers meeting at Rafiabad in north Kashmir Baramulla district.
Sayeed termed yesterday's attacks as barbaric and said motive of such acts was to stall the process of reconciliation and peace.
Incidents like Mumbai blasts will not weaken resolve of those who have been working for restoring peace in this region, he said.
Three near simultaneous blasts ripped through crowded areas in Mumbai yesterday evening, killing at least 18 people and injuring 131 others.
