A nineteen-year-old boy has been arrested for his alleged involvement in kidnapping and murder of a student from his college, police said.

"We have arrested Amir Siddiqui Shaikh who is responsible for the murder of Mukim Khan," Deputy Commissioner of Police (zone VIII) Nisar Tamboli told PTI.

Khan, a student of Rizvi college in suburban Bandra went missing on February 13.

Shaikh, along with his accomplices, allegedly abducted Mukim and killed him, Tamboli said, adding the body was later dumped into mangroves in Bandra.
