Resuming at their overnight score of 21 for no loss, Delhi lost opener Gautam Gambhir (5) in the second over of the day. The in-form Gambhir was caught in the slips by Rahul Dravid off Zaheer Khan.

Munaf then removed Virat Kohli (4) caught by a diving Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Sehwag played some big shots but gave his wicket to Anil Kumble while Munaf struck again in the very next over to remove Mithun Manhas (4), who was also caught by Dhoni.

Rajath Bhatia (12) Punit Bisht (15) were at the crease at lunch.
