Munish Sharma incharge of BJP membership drive

BJP State president and member of Parliament (MP) Jugal Kishore Sharma in consultation with state general secretary Ashok Kaul and other members of the core group of the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed state secretary Munish Sharma as incharge of membership drive in the state, which has been undertaken under the instructions of BJP national president Amit Shah.

The membership drive commenced in whole of the country in October 2014 but in the state, it was deferred on account of the state assembly elections and has been now inaugurated and started on December 25on the eve of the 90th birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

All members of the party are required to renew their membership and also enroll as many members as they can. The announcement was made by Jugal Kishore Sharma while presiding over the meeting convened to chalk out action plan for this membership drive.

Sharma, while announcing the appointment of Munish as incharge of membership drive, observed that, "Munish is a person of grit and perseverance and hoped that he will achieve the targets of the membership drive without any delay or hitch."

Munish, while accepting the responsibility bestowed upon him, thanked the state BJP leadership for having reposed trust and faith in him and assured that he will do full and complete justice to the assignment.

He said that the membership drive would rejuvenate the party and ensure activation of the workers and he will leave no stone unturned to achieve and exceed the targets as early as possible.
