Murder convict found dead in AP's Krishna district

A convicted killer was on Sunday found murdered in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district, police said. The body of Rama Rao (39), who was convicted in seven murder cases and had escaped from Srikakulam sub-jail on April 9 last, was found on the outskirts of Agiripalli village, they said.

A convicted killer was on Sunday found murdered in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district, police said.

The body of Rama Rao (39), who was convicted in seven murder cases and had escaped from Srikakulam sub-jail on April 9 last, was found on the outskirts of Agiripalli village, they said.

The convict's sister Nagmani identified his body, police said.

Rama Rao, a notorious criminal also called as Rudrakshpalli Rama Rao, had murdered seven people to take revenge for the murder of his brother in 2005. He was also involved in several cases of rape, loot and theft, they said.
