Bollywood and sport stars are amongst 18,000 visitors expected to throng music festival Sunburn 2010 beginning tomorrow at Candolim beach.
The organisers on confirmed that Bollywood actors like Arjun Rampal, Anil Kapoor, Ravina Tandon and Neha Dhupia will participate in the three-day festival.
"Boxing star Vijendra Singh and cricketer Yuvraj Singh will also be there for the festival," Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Ltd, the agency which is organising the event, told reporters at the venue.
Asked about presence of superstar Shahrukh Khan, he said, "as far as I know, Shahrukh would be in Goa during that time, but I don't know whether he will be coming."
"If he wants to come, we won't mind inviting him for the festival. We respect him immensely for what he has done for Indian film industry."
The festival will have 60 DJs playing electronic music for the crowd on three separate stages set up right on Candolim beach, 15 kms from here.
Singh said the festival will be uploaded online through live streaming on MTV and VH1 channels' websites which will be seen in 80 countries across the globe.
The festival, in its fourth year in Goa, hopes to attract a large number of foreign visitors. "But the biggest strength of us is our young Indian generation," Singh said.
The organisers said they have adopted zero tolerance towards consumption of drugs during the event. "Whoever is found doing drugs would be handed over to the police. We will ban them from visiting our festival forever," he said, adding the fest will have 32 CCTVs and two tier security.
