Addressing the gathering, Maulana Anees Ahmad Nomani of All India Jamiat Farogh-e-Islam criticised the reported statement of the Pope. National Secularism Front’s Irshad Ali Khan Afridi said that Islam is the religion of peace and such comments are not at all acceptable.
