Talking to the media during her brief halt at Indore Airport on Monday, Saina said she is focusing on maintaining her fitness level in the run up to the 2016 Olympics.
The star shuttler from Hyderabad won a bronze medal for the country in London Olympics.
Speaking about her training under new coach Vimal Kumar in Bangalore, she said with Vimal (sir), she is working on new tips, techniques and strategies ahead of big tournaments lined up in 2015 and in the Rio Olympics. "I wanted to do something different and see if I can improve," she said.
"We can beat the Chinese. It's not that we cannot beat them. But, it is always going to be tough. One time, if you beat them, second time, they will come prepared for your match," Saina replied.
