"Narco test of two out of the three accused have been completed. All three are being brought back to Surat," deputy
commissioner of police (Crime), Surat, S G Trivedi told PTI.
He, however, declined divulging more details about the test saying that it was a matter of investigation.
Sources in the DFS said that narco test of Sahid Saiyad and Tariq Saiyad, who are sons of police officials, was
completed while that of Abu Bakr, could not be completed due to some health related issues.
They said that he statements of the Sahid and Tariq recorded during the narco test will be cross-verified before
drawing any conclusion from them.
If needed the trio could be brought back to DFS, for further tests, sources said.
When asked if the police had recovered any of video clips from the mobile phones of the accused, Trivedi refused
to comment saying they are investigating the matter.
