Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was using sales and marketing techniques to establish himself as a leader.
“The people know who is working for development and who is spreading communalism,” he said while talking to journalists after launching the radio taxi service and online vehicle tax payment scheme, here on Friday.
Calling Modi a liar, Akhilesh Yadav said the Bharatiya Janata Party leader had been exposed for giving wrong facts on history and geography.
If Modi had got a visa to visit USA, he would have boasted he built the Taj Mahal at Agra, said the chief minister. The media had created Modi and it would finish him off as well, the chief minister added. The Lok Sabha election would be fought on the ground, rather than on television, he said.
Continuing his attack on Modi, he said no one could deny that Uttar Pradesh gave Prime Ministers to the country, while Gujarat had given traders.
