Aiming to provide placement opportunities to engineering, IT, management and pharmacy candidates of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, a three-day 'Job Fair 2006' will get underway on RKDF premises in Bhopal on November 24.
During the fair, 32 top-notch companies, including BMW and Wipro, will interact with around 7,000 students from 200 business institutes from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and other states.
So far, 2,900 job-seekers had registered for the fair and registration will continue during the fair. No registration fee is being charged.
RKDF Group Chairman Sunil Kapoor said the institute wanted that at least 1,000 students get job offers from top-notch employers.
Pointing out that such job fairs were normally held in Pune and other cities, he said it was the first such event organised in central India.
Dr Kapoor said selected candidates will be provided necessary training and jobs on good package. Such event will prevent talented people in the region from hunting for the job.
"It is for the first time in the history of the group, that 32 companies comprising engineering, IT, management and pharmacy were being assembled at one place," he said.
RKDF Group Senior Vice-President Harmohan Singh said the institution had obtained permission to establish its own FM Radio Station at its campus to impart education and reach out to all sections of society in Bhopal and Indore.
