Concentrating on his home constituency, National Conference president Omar Abdullah on Sunday conducted a road show in Ganderbal constituency of Jammu and Kashmir and assured people that his party would not repeat the "past mistakes" if voted to power.
"Once returned to power, NC will not repeat the past mistakes and shortcomings but would work for making Ganderbal an exemplary district in the state," Omar said today while addressing a public meeting.
He said his party is desirous of lightening the candles of prosperity in every household of the district.
The problem of unemployment would be addressed, he added.
Launching an attack over the previous coalition government, Omar said it only added to the miseries of the people.
Omar said Ganderbal had remained the home constituency of the party founder and his grandfather Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and his party will not leave any stone unturned to serve the people of the district.
