Sudhir Mishra wrapped up the shoot of Tera Kya Hoga Johnny? a couple of months ago but the film is still days away from completion. Reason: lead actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is not giving the dates required for dubbing.
It’s not as if the actor is acting pricey or that his priorities have changed. According to a source Neil isn’t happy because he has discovered that Karan Nath has an equally important parallel role in the film.
The film essentially revolves around a kid called Johnny. The story tracks of Neil and Karan merge, leading to Johnny.
Neil had signed the film before the release of Johnny Gaddar. He has asked Mishra several times during the shooting to make changes appropriate to his changed status in the market and to increase his footage. “But Sudhirji refused to give in to his demands, insisting that it would take away from the overall picture,” our source claims.
It is learnt that Neil recently saw the final cut of the film, after Karan Nath had dubbed his part. And was shaken by the impact the other actor made. He repeated his request to the director to flesh out his character. But Mishra wouldn’t relent, saying he was sticking to the script he had narrated to both the actors.
“So now Neil is retaliating by refusing to dub,” adds our source.
No free T-shirts for guessing that neither Mishra nor Neil answered our phone calls, sms messages, emails, registered letters, sad songs sung to them from the streets and even standing outside their homes in disguises.
