Close on the heels a ruling JD(U) legislator allegedly creating ugly scenes at a posh hotel, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday and NDA legislators to observe greater discipline for keeping the image of the government clean.
Kumar also hinted organising a counselling session for NDA legislators in this regard soon.
Seeking to play down Monday's incident in Chapra when BJP leader and Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Janardan Singh Sigriwal picked up a quarrel with JD(U) MLA from Chapra Rampravesh Rai in full public view, Kumar described it as an aberration, which had no impact on the relations between the coalition partners.
"It was merely a difference of opinion between the two and has no impact on the relations between the two NDA partners," Kumar said emerging from his 'meet the workers' programme at state JD(U) headquarters.
The Chief Minister said he has sought details of the incident. The leaders of the two parties would amicably solve the "differences", he said.
Kumar said he had also called Sigriwal on Tuesday for one-to-one talk on the incident.
Sigriwal had sat on dharna at a police station at Chapra on Monday night demanding immediate arrest of the JD(U) MLA for allegedly "misbehaving" with him. He lifted his dharna only after a talk with the Chief Minister late in the night.
The Chapra incident had come close on the heels of 'drunken drama' of JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey at a posh hotel on Friday night when he had also threatened media persons.
