Reacting to former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Vinod Kumar Binny's comment about the party, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that they did not need to play politics to save the government, and that none of the governments have done as much work as their government has done in one month.
"We do not have to do the politics of saving the government and let him do what he has to," said Kejriwal.
"None of the governments have done as much work as our government has done in one month," he said.
He further said that he was aware that Delhi was still not safe for women.
"There are many challenges that we need to address to in the capital right now, and I have already said it that Delhi is not secure, especially for women," he said.
Binny was expelled from the AAP for making false statements against the party on Sunday, and had threatened a dharna against Arvind Kejriwal.
Earlier on Monday, Binny that the AAP had not fulfilled even one of the promises made to the people, and that they wanted the government to fall so that they are able to run away from their responsibilities.
"They made false promises about free water and electricity to people, and the decisions and rules they have made on water and electricity have made the people confused and have mislead them," he said.
He also added that AAP had promised Jan Lokpal Bill would come to effect fifteen days from the time they come to power, but nothing was being done about it.
"They had also promised to form a commando force for the safety of women, but there have been so many cases of crime against women in the past few days," he said.
He further said that the AAP had made allegations of corruption against former Delhi chief minister but did not do anything on that aspect as well.
"They had accused many leaders of corruption, especially Sheila Dikshit, and had said that would investigate the matter, but even that never happened," said Binny.
"They also have made fun of the Delhi Commission for Women and have disrespected the organization. I will make sure they are not able to run away from their responsibilities and the promises they had made to the people," he said.
