'No obstacle to India Pakistan Iran pipeline'
Kasuri on the occasion said Pakistan is against the use of force against Iran on the nuclear issue.
There is no obstacle to the India-Pakistan-Iran (IPI) gas pipeline, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Thursday.
"The leaderships of both countries won't yield to any external pressure or accept interference in the project," he told journalists after meeting Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri.
He said progress has been achieved on the IPI gas pipeline in terms of evaluation of the structure and fixing of the gas price and added there was no obstacle in the way of this mega project.
He said: "Iran is a sovereign country and takes its own decisions. We won't accept any dictation."
Kasuri on the occasion said Pakistan is against the use of force against Iran on the nuclear issue. "We want a diplomatic solution to the problem."
"Pakistan and Iran enjoy close relations and Pakistan will not support anything which goes against Iran." He said Pakistan stands by Iran on all fronts. "We are united and will remain so."
After meeting Pakistani Petroleum Minister Amanullah Jadoon, Mottaki said: "We will cooperate with Pakistan on several petroleum projects."
