We’ve heard of script narrations happening in various places. From coffee shops to five star lobbys. But a bathroom of all places? Seems that’s the newest fad in glamour gaon after Aamir Khan admitted to discussing
with Rajkumar Hirani in the washroom of an old building in South Mumbai while shooting for his wife, Kiran Rao’s
A source close to Kapoor tells us that the actor was shooting in Canada for
when Ghosh flew there for the narration. But Ghosh was in for a surprising dilemma. “Shahid had checked into a non-smoking room and there was no way Ken could light up without setting the alarms on,” says our source, adding that the director wanted to smoke while narrating the script. According to our source, “Ken realised that there were no smoke detectors in the bathroom, so that was the only place they could get in without setting off the alarms. Once inside, Ghosh got into the bathtub to light up his cigarette before he could start telling his story.”
With Ghosh comfortably in the tub, Kapoor had no option but to sit facing him on the pot. “But after a while, Shahid felt uncomfortable and shifted to the washbasin slab and sat there till Ken had finished the narration,” reveals our source.
On being contacted, Ghosh confirmed their strange script narration venue. “Yes it is true. I did sit in the bathtub while narrating the story to Shahid but let me clarify that ours was a very professional meeting and nothing more should be read into it. And l must tell you that there is absolutely no toilet humour in this film,” he laughed.
