Police on Tuesday remained clueless on the whereabouts of a 17-year-old student who went missing from a railway station in Raipur on Sunday.

Abhishek Asim, student of the prestigious Radiant School, had disappeared from a cafe at Raipur railway station, minutes after he stepped out of a train along with his father Shyam Bihari Malik. He was a resident of Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh.

"We are clueless on how the student disappeared and where he has gone. I can't rule out the possibility of him (Abhishek) being whisked away by someone for ransom," Government Railway Police incharge KC Dey told reporters.
