Noida criminals wanted in 24 cases

Noida senior superintendent of police Naveen Arora said the two — Vinay Katiyar and Mukesh Nai— were wanted in several cases, including murder, in UP, reports Kapil Datta.

The Noida police on Tuesday identified the two suspected criminals it gunned down on Monday night.

Noida senior superintendent of police Naveen Arora said the two — Vinay Katiyar and Mukesh Nai— were wanted in several cases, including murder, in UP.

While Katiyar was involved in 13 cases of murder and robbery, Mukesh had around 11 cases of similar nature lodged against him.

On February 2, Katiyar had managed to give the slip to a police team in Kasganj.

In 1996, said Arora, Katiyar had shot at one Mohammad Sharma for ignoring his extortion demand. In January, he shot a man and robbed Rs.2.5 lakh from him.
