Budget airliner IndiGo is all set to launch non-stop flight services between Chennai and Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Kolkata.
The new services are slated to be effective from tomorrow, IndiGo said in a statement in Chennai.
Besides the launch of new services, IndiGo would also add new frequencies from Chennai to Coimbatore and flights to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi by the end of November.
In the new service launched by the airliner, one-way fare connecting Chennai-Ahmedabad would cost Rs 3,154, while the flight connecting Ahmedabad-Chennai would cost Rs 3,033.
Chennai-Jaipur ticket would cost Rs 3,432 and Jaipur-Chennai Rs 3,582. Ahmedabad-Jaipur and Ahmedabad-Kolkata would cost Rs 2,154 and Rs 3,553, respectively.
It said on return, Jaipur-Ahmedabad and Jaipur-Kolkata would cost Rs 2,183 and Rs 3,183, respectively. Cost of a ticket on the Kolkata-Ahmedabad sector is priced at Rs 3,432 and Kolkata-Jaipur Rs 3,033, it said.
"These new services will provide greater flexibility of choice for our customers and will strengthen our existing route network in South India," IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh said.
The airliner said that it had recently inducted its 29th Airbus A320 and currently operates 22 destinations with 194 daily flights across the country, the statement added.
