Bihar's chief minister, Nitish Kumar, will undertake seva yatra from the first week of November next to take stock of delivery of various services to the people post-implementation of the Right to Service Act (RTS) last month, an official said on Tuesday.

"The chief minister's seva yatra will start from West Champaran district in the first week of November for a statewide tour," principal secretary (cabinet coordination and secretariat) Ravikant told reporters.

Kumar will stay upto two-three days in a district to assess the delivery of services to the people under various schemes as well as the RTS, he said.

Kumar had undertaken a number of tours in the state during his first stint in power from 2005-10.
