Ever hesitated to try out a new item on the menu because you were afraid of the hole it might burn in your pocket? Or have you ever been apprehensive of tasting an unfamiliar dish? With this food delivery website, not only can you check out newbies at slashed rates, but you can win prizes for reviewing them too., a food-ordering portal, has launched This Deal Is A Steal as a part of its new initiative that allows foodies to review new additions to the menu, while charging them half the price. It also offers users the chance to recommend dishes and win prizes for their reviews. The company’s Facebook page has already garnered over 7,000 likes from its users.

Aditi Talreja, director of the site, says, “Customers consider this a good bargain; they get to look beyond their usual order and experience something new at discounted rates.” Restaurants are queuing up to join the initiative too.

Sanjeev Bagga, head of Big Daddy Pizzas, simply puts it as, “This is a great way of promoting our products and a surefire method of grabbing customers’ attention.” Rajeev Punjabi, founder of Seafood Lovers, concurs: “It’s an excellent opportunity for us to popularise our new additions as it helps attract future customers.”

To avail of this offer, users must register with the website. “Log on to and after selecting the restaurant, add the dish to your shopping cart. Users can also upload their reviews on the restaurant page and stand to win prizes,” explains Aditi.
