SHARANGA CONSULTANTS International Ltd, a London-based company representing a group of NRI investors, has set its sights on Madhya Pradesh to invest in areas of education, infrastructure and agriculture.

The company sees a lot of potential in the region, particularly Indore, due to easy availability of land. In the initial phase, Sharanga plans to bring in 25 million US dollars of FDI into India, and will conduct surveys in the coming weeks before finalising its investment portfolio.

Company Director, Hemendra Gandalal, who was in Indore on Thursday, told reporters that he was impressed with the presentation on investment scenario in the State by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the recently concluded Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in New Delhi. Chouhan has invited the company to visit Bhopal to look into the legalities involved and prepare portfolio of investment.
