Actor and star campaigner of TDP N T Rama Rao (Junior) was injured in a road accident in the wee hours on Friday and is responding well to the treatment.
"We are very fortunate that NTR (Junior) escaped with minor injuries. He is recovering well. He has been doing very well in films and made a mark for himself. In just 15 days of his maiden election campaigning, Junior has created waves," TDP president Chandrababu Naidu said.
Talking to newsmen after visiting Junior at KIMS Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit here, Naidu said, "Junior's health was our prime concern right now. We are not worried about his election campaign."
Junior's uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna said it was due to late NTR's blessings and the adoration of people that his nephew had a lucky escape in the road accident.
"I spoke to him in the hospital. He has a lot of will power. He is responding well to medication. There is nothing to worry," Balakrishna said.
