After being a rage among youth for dying his hair grey two years ago, Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah created ripples on Thursday among netizens after uploading his bespectacled picture on social networking site Twitter.
"I'm getting old. I now need to start using glasses to read," Omar wrote to 1.4 lakh followers on Twitter, only to trigger a tsunami of tweets from his followers.
"The bespectacled men are always considered to be desiring and elegant," wrote a female fan with twitter handle of Konkanaa.
"But you look cool and dashing in glasses too," wrote twitter handle Gazalshah.
From suggestions to change his specs frame to sarcasm on governance, Omar was flooded with response to him getting bespectacled.
"Effect of heading a coalition, first your hair grew now your eyes. Who knows what next," wrote Mudhumk in a sarcastic tweet.
On March 10, when Akhilesh Yadav emerged as UP's chief minister, Omar stepped down from the tag of being youngest chief minister. "Yes, I'm no longer going to be the youngest chief minister in the country," Abdullah on his 42nd birthday.
