Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today accused the Omar Abdullah Government for "unprecedented delay" in finalising the state's 2010-11 annual plan.
"J&K Government led by Omar Abdullah has total failed to finalise the annual plan. This would also give a step back to the development activities in the state," JKNPP Chairman Harsh Dev Singh told reporters in Jammu today.
Taking a dig at the government's lacklustre attitude, Singh further said that most of the states had finalised their respective plans with plan ceiling duly conveyed to them by the Planning Commission. "It was only our state which is trailing behind," he alleged.
Previously, the plan size for the state was finalised much before other states in view of the government's limited working season, he said. "The unprecedented delay in completing the exercise reveals utter bankruptcy on the part of those managing the affairs of the state," Singh said, adding development activity was bound to affected due to the delay.
