Omar visits Beerwah

The National Conference working president and MLA from Beerwah, Omar Abdullah, on Saturday visited Beerwah and addressed workers and public at various locations.

Omar, who won the elections from Beerwah, thanked people for reposing faith in him and selecting him as their local representative.

He took stock of situation and directed the concerned officers to redress the public issues on priority basis.

"It is necessary to ensure the resolution of all issues and public grievances on time. In these harsh winters, there are many issues concerning the general public, which must be solved in a time-bound manner," he directed the officials.

Omar also assured the people that he will be available and accessible to his constituents always. Rai said that India has a certain population advantage as majority its population is young and in the productive age.

"If this advantage is to be utilised for the development of the country, the young population will have to be made productive by equipping them with the necessary skills".
