Omar welcomes Pakistan decision

Chief minister Omar Abdullah has welcomed the move by Nawaz Sharief Pakistan Prime Minster, to attend swearing in ceremony of Narendra Modi. He said people of the Jammu and Kashmir will be closely watching this meeting.

Chief minister Omar Abdullah has welcomed the move by Nawaz Sharief Pakistan Prime Minster, to attend swearing in ceremony of Narendra Modi. He said people of the Jammu and Kashmir will be closely watching this meeting.

“Very glad to hear Pakistan PM has accepted invite, shows that he can prevail over forces inimical to good relations with India. Hope that this will mark a new beginning in ties between two countries. The people of J&K will be watching closely,” Omar tweeted after formal statement by Nawaz Sharief’s office.
