Orissa on Tuesday beefed up security around the legislative assembly and secretariat in Bhubaneswar after the office of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik received an e-mail which threatened to blow up the assembly within 15 days.
The mail, written in Hindi using English alphabets was received at the official e-mail address of the chief minister on Monday night, police said.
The e-mail said that a few security officials also were hand-in-glove with them to carry out the operation.
"The chief minister's office has received such an email but there is nothing to worry," state police chief Amarananda Patnaik told IANS.
Some body might have done a mischief, he said.
